簡介

祝福文化，2014年4月18日創立，當時先以有限公司的形式開始運作。創辦人是原任世華媒體執行董事兼集團總編輯的蕭依釗，以及一群離開新聞前線的自由媒體人。

在蕭依釗的奔波與努力之下，祝福文化基金會於2015年8月5日獲得政府批准正式成立。

祝福文化的宗旨是推動慈善和文化活動。

捐助印度、婆罗洲、緬甸和尼泊爾的貧困學生、馬來西亞的原住民孩子，以及孤苦的長者，是祝福文化現階段的重點活動。

我們不是火炬，但我們相信，匯集許多小小的燭光，也可以把世界點亮。

我們的理念是——把祝福，帶給有需要的人；也希望可以把祝福變成一種文化，讓世界擁有更多正面的能量。

The Best Wishes Foundation

The Best Wishes Foundation, set up on 18 April 2014, aims to support underprivileged groups, especially the children, who are less fortunate and in need of help by striving to improve their standard of education and standard of living. In addition thereto, the Foundation is also committed to encourage and create awareness in the public to provide aid and relief to those in needs, and to promote programs relating to culture, art and heritage preservation to the public.

The Foundation currently runs the following major programs:
1.   “Sponsor A Child”
Under this program, the sponsor makes an annual donation of RM500 to help fund the school fees of an underprivileged child.
2.   “Sunshine”
Under this program, donations received by the Foundation will be utilised to provide the Orang Asli children (“aboriginal children”) with access to food, stationery, books, clothes and other necessities, or to be channelled towards the training centres for the Orang Asli children.

The Foundation strives to ensure that the donations reach the intended recipients for the intended purposes, thus it organises an annual trip for the sponsors to visit the beneficiaries of their donations.

The Foundation is heartened by and wishes to thank the sponsors, who come from all walks of life – professionals, entrepreneurs, retirees, students  – and also those internationally renowned columnists and writers, who have donated the royalties they earned from writing articles for publications in Malaysia to the Foundation. Their heart-warming generosity has not only been helping the Foundation navigate through its teething problems, it has also given the Foundation the strength to continue into the future.

However, moving forward, the Foundation will need to rely on, and hopes to receive, the support and blessing of many others more.

The Foundation accepts and is thankful for donations, in kind or in money. For donation of money, it can be made to the bank account of the Foundation, details as set out below; for any other form of donation, please contact the Foundation.
